Opal + West has some amazing common spaces that you are welcome to enjoy during your stay! Including: the dining room, library, patio and lobby!

Coffee/Non-Alcholic Beverage Bar:

In addition to the coffee station in your room, there will be a coffee bar open in the lobby every morning! In the afternoon there will be a variety of non alcoholic beverages that you are welcome to.

The Common Areas

  • The Lobby

    As you walk into he lobby of Opal + West you will be greeted by the beautiful green walls, original fireplace, fun light fixtures, stunning artwork, and the good vibes the house welcomes you with.

  • The Dining Room

    The dining room is the heart of the home. House made breakfast is served fresh there daily. You can enjoy your breakfast in the dining room surrounded by the laughs and chatter of other guests, or in the privacy of your room.

  • The Library

    The private library is more than just a place to read books! This fun little room is packed full of charm. You can browse the book collection, listen to your favorite records, or just cuddle up on the couch and enjoy the vibes!

  • The Patio

    The private patio is the place to be year round at Opal + West! With comfortable adirondack chairs, a firepit, and hanging string lights you will love spending your evenings out here during your stay!

  • The Front Porch

    The front porch overlooks Marion Street. You can enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail sitting out on the large wooden benches or rocking chairs while watching the world pass by.

  • The Back Porch

    Right outside of the lobby, the back porch has a cozy seating area where you can cozy up and enjoy the scenery. Historically though to ward off evil spirits, the ceiling above is painted haint blue.
